What We Do

We fund sensory equipment for children from ages 0 – 18, who have been diagnosed with an ‘Autistic Spectrum Condition' and:

Live in a ‘B for Birmingham postcode’, or attend a Birmingham City Council School. The parent / carer must be either unemployed or in receipt of any of the following benefits:

a.Carers Allowance
b.Income Support
c.Job seekers Allowance

This is because we are focusing on those low income families that require financial assistance.

If you are successful, then we require you to complete a short questionnaire for feedback on the item received for the child and how / if this has been of benefit to the child and how it has improved quality of life.

We would also request some photographic evidence of the child using the item for promotional purposes of the work we do. If you do not wish to have the photo used in the public domain on our material, then please stipulate this on submission of the photo and we will respect your wishes.

Applications can be made by; Parents, Carers and Professionals on behalf of the child via post or email.

The information required:
The Parent / Carers name
The child’s name
Child’s date of birth
Child’s address
School the child attends (if applicable)
Confirmation of the child’s diagnosis

The reasons the child will benefit from receiving this item

If you do not receive any communication within 14 days from the acknowledgement, then unfortunately, your application was unsuccessful. You can by all means submit another application after 12 months have passed from the original application date.

If your application is successful, then depending on the item requested, we aim for delivery within 14 days.

In the past year Lisa and Peter have opened two shops in the Longbridge and Stirchley areas of Birmingham. The money generated from the sales, provide the income to purchase the sensory equipment directly for the families in need. The retail outlets rely purely on donations from members of the public to provide items for their shops to sell on.
